Privacy policy for this website

This policy applies to the website camp-united.app. The CampUnited app has its own detailed privacy policy, which you’ll find in the app under Einstellungen → Datenschutz & Rechtliches (Settings → Privacy & legal).

2. The essentials first

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking, no analytics tools and no advertising. Fonts, images and the video are hosted on our own server; no content from Google, YouTube or other third parties is loaded when you visit. The language you choose is only part of the page address and is not stored.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, with data centres worldwide, including in the EU). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, page requested, browser and operating system in order to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. These logs are only stored briefly.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR (Data Processing Addendum) is in place with Cloudflare.

4. Contact by email

If you write to support@camp-united.app, we only use your details to answer your request and delete them when they are no longer needed. The message is forwarded via Cloudflare (email routing) to our Google Mail inbox. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

5. Links to the app

Buttons such as “Open app” lead to the CampUnited app. Only there – after you sign in – is data such as your email address processed. Details can be found in the app’s privacy policy.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise them, write to us at support@camp-united.app. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (TLfDI), Häßlerstraße 8, 99096 Erfurt, Germany.
